Angles and Nature

Given some number of points and a multiplier , this Demonstration creates a pleasing visual display using discs centered at the points . You can use the controls to vary the size of the discs, and as minimal variations of the multiplier can have large effects, the step size of the multiplier is adjustable as well. The multiplier affects the angles of the rays connecting the points to the origin. For some settings of this multiplier, the image is reminiscent of patterns found in nature.
