Approximate Area and Circumference of a Circle Using Isosceles Triangles

This Demonstration shows a unit circle and many isosceles triangles. As you increase the number of triangles, you can see that the sum of their bases approximates the circumference of the circle and the sum of their areas approximates the area of the circle.
