Cooling of a Rod with Initial Temperature Distribution

This Demonstration shows the cooling of a rod of length with a specified initial temperature distribution. The temperature of the two ends are kept at 0, and the initial distribution is given by the first four elements , ) of its sine Fourier series. The lower diagram shows the temperature distribution at a given moment. (The initial condition applies when time equals 0.)
