This Demonstration provides some cylindrical mazes on surfaces. (A cylindrical maze is one where, in the absence of red boundaries, purely latitudinal paths are periodic and purely longitudinal paths are bounded.) Find a path from the black dot to the gray dot without passing over a red edge. The idea is to make a 2D cylindrical maze and use it as texture for 3D graphics.
