This Demonstration shows how to graphically determine the intersection of two lines given by equations. Draw points and that satisfy the first equation and draw a line through them, then do the same with points and for the second equation. Let be the intersection of the lines. Use Alt+Click (Cmd+Click on Mac) to draw a new point. Drag the corner points to move the lines through them.
