Efecto Compton (Spanish)

El efecto Compton es el aumento en la longitud de onda de un fotón cuando choca con un electrón libre en reposo. La diferencia entre longitudes de onda final e inicial del fotón está dada por la ecuación siendo: , la constante de Planck; , la velocidad de la luz; , la masa del electrón en reposo y , el ángulo de dispersión del fotón. Tanto la velocidad final del electrón como el ángulo ; dependen de la frecuencia inicial del fotón y del ángulo . puede deducirse de la conservación de la energía mientras que se deduce de la conservación del momento.
