Electric Potential of a Metallic Cylinder Surrounded by a Dielectric in an External Static Electric Field

A metallic cylinder surrounded by a dielectric is exposed to an external static electric field. The displayed entity is electric potential, determined by the superposition of two electric fields: the external static electric field and the electric field from charges induced on the conducting surface.
