Emulation of a Multicolor Turing Machine by a Two-Color Turing Machine

This Demonstration shows how a two-color Turing machine can be used to emulate a Turing machine of multiple colors. The two-color evolution and rule icon are on the right, and the equivalent multiple-color evolution and rule icon are on the left.
For more details about this emulation, please see Stephen Wolfram's A New Kind of Science, pp. 669-671.
