Draw a line starting from the origin and intersecting each of two circles of equal radii in points , (depicted in yellow). The locus of the tip of a vector (in red) passing through point and of length equal to the distance between and is a lemniscate. This Demonstration allows the rotation of this line. Note that some positions do not intersect any of the circles.
