This Demonstration makes a pie chart showing the frequency distribution of sets of similar colors in an image. Similarity of colors is evaluated by the Euclidean distance between their red-green-blue values. Increasing the maximum allowed color distance produces fewer sets of similar colors. Decreasing the maximum allowed color distance produces more sets of similar colors. Color names can be chosen from Mathematica's HTML, Legacy, or Crayola collections.
