One role of an artist is to represent 3D objects using 2D graphics. Computer artists also use 3D computer graphics to produce 2D pictures. This Demonstration uses the Mathematica function Graphics3D to make 2D op art image patterns. To see the 2D graphic, rotate the figure into the plane.
