The Mathematica Blend function takes a list of colors (the palette) and returns a color that blends the colors in the list depending on the value of a "second input." This Demonstration illustrates the operation of Blend by providing a number of preset palettes or by letting you create a three-colored palette and opacity levels for each of the colors. The Demonstration shows Blend being used to generate the color depicted.
