Nodal Domains of Spherical Harmonics


	The sphere is colored according to the real or imaginary part of the spherical harmonic . Spherical harmonics are mathematical functions that are common in many physical situations, notably atomic orbitals, particle scattering processes, and antenna radiation patterns.
