Nonlinear Image Filtering

Nonlinear filters can be used for smoothing as well as for eliminating noise in image processing. This Demonstration shows the effectiveness of using different nonlinear filters against the type of noise added to the image. The size of the mask can also be manipulated to control the degree of smoothing and noise removal.
