The Olympic games will be held in Beijing, China. According to Olympic tradition, the torch will go around the world and then travel through the major cities of China. The torch will be carried from Hong Kong to Beijing, following a tour of about 17,210 kilometers.
This Demonstration optimizes the torch's tour of China. It includes 34 cities, starting from Tianjin and ending in Beijing. The total distance is about 15,700 kilometers, which is the shortest tour of China.

Snapshot 1: The torch starts from Tianjin (city number 1, total torch distance = 0 km).
Snapshot 2: The torch goes to Shanghai (city number 8, total torch distance = 3,324 km).
Snapshot 3: The torch finishes at Beijing (city number 34, total torch distance = 15,730 km).
