Patterns Based on Pentagonal Assemblies of Polygons

This Demonstration shows some patterns based on a series of pentagonal assemblies of polygons. The sizes of successive pentagons are in proportion to the golden ratio. The pentagonal units can be replaced with other polygons, rotated, truncated and rearranged to produce a multitude of patterns.
