Peaucellier's and Hart's Inversor

The Demonstration provides two linkages to convert circular motion to linear motion.
Peaucellier's mechanism was discovered in 1864. It has seven rods and converts circular motion of the point to linear motion of the point .
Hart's linkage was discovered in 1875. It is a five-link mechanism that converts circular motion of to linear motion of .
