Pricing a Diamond

The price of a diamond is influenced by "the Four C's": cut, clarity, color, and carats. This Demonstration shows how each of these factors affects the overall price, calculated by fitting with a generalized linear model. This model applies only to Round cut diamonds, not to fancier cuts such as Princess, Marquise, or Heart.

The data for the model was obtained from brilliance.com using a VBScript webscraping script. In total, 35,000 Round cut diamonds were included in the analysis.
