Randomness in the Digits of Pi

Move the sliders to view "walks" made from the digit sequence of in various bases. Each successive step goes up or down by an amount determined by the successive digits in , normalized so that the middle of the possible digits corresponds to 0. Despite their simple definition, these sequences seem for practical purposes random.
