Ring Structures Made of Square Pyramids and Matching Tetrahedra

A square pyramid and a matching tetrahedron are used to produce ring structures. Bars are aligned along the edges to from a lattice structure, while the nodes are marked by spheres.


This is the one of the essential structural features of the London Eye, a 135 m tall observation wheel in London.
