This Demonstration gives the position and the speed of a ball rolling on rails as a function of time. The acceleration of the ball on rails depends on the ball radius , the radius of its rotation , its moment of inertia, the width between the rails, and the inclination . Do not change the parameters once the animation has run: this might move the ball out of the picture.

Cette Démonstration donne la position et la vitesse d'une bille sur des rails en fonction du temps. L'accélération de la bille sur les rails dépend du rayon de la bille, de son rayon de roulement , de son moment d'inertie, de l'écartement des rails et de leur inclinaison .
