Sphericon

Interact on desktop, mobile and cloud with the free Wolfram Player or other Wolfram Language products.
A sphericon is approximated using triangular segments. A bicone can be produced if half of the sphericon is rotated by 90 degrees. Notice that an octahedron is obtained if the number of segments is four, and a saddle surface can be created by manipulating the vertices of the segments.
