Wolfram Demonstrations Project

This Demonstration gives symmetric decompositions of a rhombic triacontahedron into golden rhombic solids.

The label "C

v" means cyclic symmetry with an

-fold symmetry axis. If the axis is placed vertically, then "v" means there is a vertical mirror plane. Icosahedral symmetry type is labeled "I".
