These block cellular automata have three possible colors and conserve the combined number of cells that are not white. It is readily seen that more complicated behavior is observed than in two-color block cellular automata.

You can vary the initial conditions by changing the center width of the starting block of color or the total width of the evolution. Two rules are shown, detailed by the rule icons above the evolution.
