This Demonstration explores the shape of a torus with a twisted polygonal cross section [1]. The twisting is achieved by rotating the polygonal cross section around the circular centerline of the torus.

Vary the longitudinal gap to see inside the torus. Change the meridional gap to get different "flower-like" views.
