Uniform Circular Motion Using a Tetherball

The concept of uniform circular motion is demonstrated here. The ball moves at constant speed in a circle around a pole. The forces that act upon the ball while it is in motion are the tension force of the string and the force of gravity. The tangential acceleration points in the direction of rotation.
