This Demonstration shows isothermal expansion and compression curves for measuring the work and efficiency of a Stirling engine. Work output is shown by the area colored in turquoise. You can vary vessel volume and the expansion and compression temperatures for various gases. The pressure is measured in Pa, while the volume is in
