3D Interactive Satellite Globe

Requires a Wolfram Notebook System
Interact on desktop, mobile and cloud with the free Wolfram Player or other Wolfram Language products.
This Demonstration plots satellite positions around a 3D globe using Graphics3D. The CDF version only features past, static data. If downloaded, it is possible to pull live data from Wolfram|Alpha. Optionally, it is possible to display a heat map of where all the current satellites are. Interestingly, there are so many satellites close to the orbit of the Earth that it looks similar to the Sun. Click and drag to pan around and use the zoom slider to zoom.
