Custom Orthogonal Axes for 3D Graphics

Requires a Wolfram Notebook System
Interact on desktop, mobile and cloud with the free Wolfram Player or other Wolfram Language products.
The custom axes created in this Demonstration in conjunction with standard axes options provide improved visualizations of many 3D graphical displays. In particular, the custom axes will not be visible when they are behind a surface, subject to the opacity option settings for the surface. During interactive zoom/rotate operations, the identification of the ,
, and
axes is much easier. Use of these techniques will make it possible to create and enhance a wide variety of 3D graphics.
