This Demonstration shows some possible solutions for the Duffing oscillator: , a dynamical system that can exhibit chaotic behavior. Plots are shown of variations of the power spectrum, scalogram, and phase space trajectory with changes in the forcing amplitude parameter , with fixed values of the other parameters. The power spectrum and the scalogram exhibit the frequency content of the solution.
