The figure displays the connection between population growth and equilibrium harvest in commercial fishing. The red curves and points represent equilibrium situations related to selected fishing efforts. The population growth is assumed to follow logistic growth (Verhulst) and simple linear catch in effort and population biomass is also assumed (Gordon–Schaefer).
