The isoperimetric quotient of a plane figure is the ratio where is the area of the figure and its perimeter. The Isoperimetric Inequality states that this ratio is always less than or equal to one, with equality only for a circle. Use the controls to create polygons inscribed in the unit circle and view their isoperimetric quotients.
