This Demonstration shows the simplest LCAO (linear combination of atomic orbitals) representing the bonding 
molecular orbital in molecular hydrogen. The top graphic shows the electron cloud 
plotted along the internuclear axis. The separation between nuclei 
(in Bohr atomic units) can be varied.
