The design marks differences between neighboring elements of the same automaton state by frame elements. The width of the initial condition and the number of steps define the overall proportions of your archive design. The rule and the initial conditions create various designs for organizing books or other storage media. You can modify the thickness of frame elements or look at the actual evolution of your selected elementary cellular automaton.
