This Demonstration is a tool for making photo collages. Selected pictures can be moved, sized, and rotated on a canvas by dragging locators.

Select a picture from the popup menu and put it onto the canvas by the "add" button. The "undo" button deletes the pictures one by one.

After adding them onto the canvas, each picture has two locators: one that looks like crosshairs and a double arrow.

You can move a picture by dragging, making sure to avoid the locators.

You can resize a picture by dragging the double arrow locator away from or toward the central locator. The picture size is proportional to the distance between the locators.

To rotate a picture, click close to the central locator and spin it.

Up to 20 pictures can be put on the canvas. You can remove all of the locators after finishing the collage.
