Music Box with Rotating Ballerina

In this Demonstration we have created a fully functional music box, complete with a pretty-in-pink ballerina. The box opens on a hinge ("open box") to reveal a ballerina rotating ("rotate ballerina") in dancing pose. To mimic the actual limitations of a music box, the ballerina will not begin to rotate until the top of the box has been completely opened. At this time, the user can choose to introduce music ("play music") with a variable tempo ("tempo").

"open box": move the slider to open the fixed-hinge box
"box view": check this box and drag the "open box" slider back and forth to feel as if you are inside the music box
"rotate ballerina": click to animate the rotating ballerina; controls will not work (as in a real music box) until the box is fully open
"play music": check this box to hear some beautiful music (Vivaldi's "Winter")
"tempo": drag the slider to change the tempo of the music and the rotation speed of the ballerina
