This Demonstration tests your ability to determine musical intervals by playing random intervals and then showing the solution after a brief delay. The various options let you control difficulty; a low frequency range (around middle C) with a fixed root is easier, whereas a high frequency range using compound intervals allows any two notes on a standard piano. Only checked intervals are included in the test.
