Straight Cylinder Engine

This demonstration shows a model of a typical straight cylinder engine, also known as a reciprocating engine. Each cylinder follows a 4-stroke cycle (also called an Otto cycle). The order of sparking is designed to minimize vibration and achieve smooth running.
