The Fix of an Element of a Group Acting on a Two-Colored Figure

The result of each element of the dihedral group acting on the two-colorings of a figure are shown. You can highlight the fix of each group element. The figure can be a 2x2 chessboard or an equilateral triangle subdivided into four congruent equilateral triangles.
