Totalistic automata with six neighbors are rendered on a square and a hexagonal grid. The automata distinguish local densities ranging between zero and seven occupied pixels, including the middle one. These eight possible inputs are handled by one of 256 rules. Choose from 128 initial conditions or use the default, a single marked pixel in the center.
