This Demonstration considers the rectangular and polar coordinates of a point at the center of an orange circle. Drag the orange circle to change its location on the - plane. Select "rectangular coordinates" to see or hide the rectangular coordinates of the point . Select "polar coordinates" to see or hide the polar coordinates of the point . The angle is in degrees, measured counterclockwise from the positive axis. You can drag the table that contains the data.
