Starr Rose Mesh

The 2D slider controls a ratio whose numerator and denominator define how the periodic envelope is folded. Change the overall folding frequency, the size of the lacuna in the center and the gamma exponent to see the resulting Starr rose. The name Starr rose refers to the mathematician Norton Starr.
