One of the elements of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) number and operations standard for grades pre-K-2 is that students be able to "understand the effects of adding...whole numbers...". This Demonstration allows students (and their teachers) to explore whole number addition and multiplication on a hundred board.
