Claws are established at the ends of two shafts to be coupled. By moving one of the shafts in axial direction the claws of the clutch are meshed to close. If part of the claws on one of the shaft is made of resilient material, then the clutch can cope with some misalignment of the shafts, and shocks in the drive are attenuated.
