Dynamic Damping

Interact on desktop, mobile and cloud with the free Wolfram Player or other Wolfram Language products.
A model of two masses with springs was simulated using MathModelica. Change the sliders to see how the damping and stiffness of the spring and the two masses affects the resonances. One application where dynamic damping could be used is to stabilize a CD. The animation shows a CD with and without dynamic damping .
