Interact on desktop, mobile and cloud with the free Wolfram Player or other Wolfram Language products.
In this dice game, the punter pays the banker $2 and throws 12 dice. For each six thrown, the banker pays the punter $1. The Demonstration allows you to visualize up to 1000 games. You can see the evolution of the punter's net winnings with the control "sum", and the evolution of his average winnings (i.e. winnings per play) with the control "average". The punter's average winnings tend to zero, although it is possible for either player to gain a significant financial lead by some given stage.
