Constant-Addition Continuous Cellular Automaton

At each step, the color of each cell is determined by taking the average of the cell and its two neighbors, then adding a constant, but wrapping around if the result is greater than one. For small values of the constant, this can be used as a simple model of boiling.

The behavior of the system can depend very sensitively on the precise value of the constant that is added.
