Requires a Wolfram Notebook System

Interact on desktop, mobile and cloud with the free Wolfram Player or other Wolfram Language products.

This Demonstration shows how to graphically determine the intersection of two lines given by equations. Draw points and that satisfy the first equation and draw a line through them, then do the same with points and for the second equation. Let be the intersection of the lines. Use Alt+Click (Cmd+Click on Mac) to draw a new point. Drag the corner points to move the lines through them.
