Four bars are connected in a loop with hinged joints to form a four-bar linkage. In this Demonstration three of the bars are cylindrical and the fourth is a block in which shafts are inserted to support two of the hinges. One hinge can be rotated around a shaft, while another hinge moves along part of a circle back and forth around the other shaft.
