Intarsia Patterns with Modular Graphics

Intarsia is a technique used to create patterns with multiple materials and colors, as in working with wood or stone. Graphical representation of functions of the form , with color scaling of the variables, can produce modular graphics with appealing similar aesthetic qualities.
